Baby Chicks

We’ve been proud to carry baby chicks for over 23 years, and chick season is one of our favorite times of the year. Our baby chick season runs from February through May, and we’re excited to welcome one of our largest lineups yet. This year we’ll be offering around 50 different breeds, including several unique varieties that are brand new for us. To help ensure you get the breeds you’re looking for, we’re now offering chick pre-orders for the season.

Chick Pre-Order Details & Policies

• Minimum chick order is 2 chicks or more

• We order pullets, but sexing is not 100% guaranteed (hatchery sexing accuracy is approximately 90%)

• We take excellent care of all chicks while they are in our possession; however, we cannot guarantee their care or health once they leave our facility

• All chicks are for in-store pickup only — no shipping available

• All chick pre-orders must be prepaid in full

• You will have 24 hours to pick up your chicks once they arrive

• Orders not picked up within 24 hours will be canceled, chicks will be placed for sale, and the order will be eligible for a 50% refund only (50% restocking fee)

• Any other cancellations due to the customer will be subject to a 50% restocking fee

• If the hatchery is unable to supply the breed ordered, you will receive a 100% refund
