Baby Chicks

We’ve proudly carried baby chicks for over 23 years, and chick season remains one of our favorite times of the year!

Our baby chick season runs from February through May, and this year we’re welcoming one of our largest lineups yet. We expect to offer around 50 different breeds, including several unique varieties that are brand new to Rockin’ E.

To give customers the best chance of getting the breeds they want, we are now accepting chick pre-orders for the season.

Chick Pre-Order Details & Policies

• Minimum order of 2 chicks

• We order pullets; however, sexing is not 100% guaranteed. Hatchery sexing accuracy is approximately 90%.

• All chick pre-orders must be paid in full when the order is placed.

• Chicks are available for in-store pickup only. Shipping is not available.

• Customers will have 24 hours to pick up their chicks after being notified that they have arrived.

• Orders that are not picked up within 24 hours will be canceled, and the chicks will be made available for sale. The customer will receive a 50% refund, with the remaining 50% retained as a restocking fee.

• Any other customer-requested cancellations will also be subject to a 50% restocking fee.

• If the hatchery is unable to supply a breed that was ordered, the customer will receive a full refund for the unavailable chicks.

• We take excellent care of every chick while it is in our possession. However, once chicks leave our facility, we cannot guarantee their continued health or care.
