Silkie Bantams Assorted Straight Run 3/23/26

Silkies are a unique and beloved breed known for their soft, fluffy, hair-like feathers and gentle, friendly personality. With their calm nature and distinctive look, they’re a favorite for families, pets, and mixed backyard flocks.
Bird Size: Small / Bantam (hens average 2–3 lbs; roosters 3–4 lbs)
Egg Color: Cream to light brown
Egg Production: Approximately 100–120 eggs per year
Silkies are exceptionally docile and often very broody, making them excellent natural mothers for hatching eggs. They do best in protected environments due to their feathering and limited flight ability. While not prolific layers, their sweet temperament and novelty make them a standout addition to any flock.
